Profhilo
What is Profhilo?
Do you suffer from sagging skin on your face, neck, décolleté, hands or upper arms? That can be very disturbing! The new Profhilo treatment tackles this sagging skin and actually repairs and rejuvenates it.
Profhilo is an anti-ageing treatment with a large amount of pure hyaluronic acid without chemical additives. This stimulates the production of collagen (which provides firmness) and elastin (which provides elasticity). As a result, the skin becomes firm and healthy again in several skin layers.
Treatment
Before treatment, we take photos for your medical records. In this treatment, we use the BAP technique. The BAP technique ensures that the Profhilo is strategically distributed over the treatment area with a number of injections. This distribution ensures that the Profhilo then naturally spreads optimally in the skin of the entire treatment area. Thus, only a few injections are needed to optimally treat an entire face (or neck, décolleté or upper arm).
For the most optimal result, 2 ml of Profhilo is spread over the area to be treated per treatment. This is repeated once after the first time after at least four weeks to give an extra boost. After this, the advice is to repeat one Profhilo treatment with 2 ml every six to 12 months.
Risks
As with any cosmetic procedure, there is a risk of infection and allergic reaction. Both risks are very minimal and do not cause any impact on the final result. Due to the natural material, the chance of side effects is small.
