Why fillers?
Maintaining a fresh and youthful appearance does not happen by itself. As you age, your bone and fat tissue structures and lips decrease in volume, causing the skin to start sagging and the lips to become thinner. It also reduces the production of substances that contribute to natural skin hydration such as hyaluronic acid, resulting in your skin drying out more quickly. Apart from intrinsic factors, extrinsic factors, including UV rays, smoking, stress, poor eating and drinking habits and poor general skin care, can also cause the ageing process to accelerate. These changes cause wrinkles and creases to appear on the face, at the expense of a youthful and beautiful appearance. The signs and symptoms of the ageing process can be countered by replenishing the hyaluronic acid in the skin.
Stylage® filler
Stylage is an A-brand hyaluronic acid filler comprising a comprehensive range with a very high safety profile, for treating wrinkles, restoring facial volume, plumping your lips and rehydrating skin.
The Stylage filler range is based on hyaluronic acid, which is a moisturising substance that also occurs naturally in your skin. Radiesse® filler
Radiesse® is a filler consisting of a soft gel with tiny calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres. These high-quality ingredients provide the immediate filling effect and stimulate the natural production of collagen in the skin. Sagging skin firms up and regains its tightness and elasticity.
Your doctor will gently inject Radiesse® into the skin, usually in small amounts using a very fine needle. For greater treatment comfort, the doctor may apply a local anaesthetic to the treated areas.
