Highbrows

What is Highbrows?

Brow Henna is a processed product based on Indian henna. A green powder with a strong fragrance that comes from the dried leaf of the Lawsonia Inermis, also known as the henna plant. This shrub is native to North Africa and India, among other places. The flowers can be used to make perfume, while the green leaves of the henna bush can be used as a dye for colouring hair or making beautiful decorations on the skin.

Short soaking time

Coloured pigments have been added to Brow Henna to ensure both the (cool) brown tones and durability that specialists expect! If you were to use pure henna, as used for traditional henna decorations, you would get a reddish-brown imprint on the skin and orange-red brows. Besides, pure henna has to soak in for hours to leave an imprint. While henna for henna brows can be removed after only 10 to 20 minutes and then have left a beautiful imprint.

6 beautiful colours

Dyotics Brow Henna comes in six natural shades, from blonde to almost black, suitable for any brow. The colours are fairly ashy, with the exception of Hazelnut. This is a warm brown shade. Especially for redheads and anyone who likes more warm brows. But Dyotics Brow Henna Hazelnut is also great for making the other colours of brow henna slightly warmer. By the way, you can easily mix all colours together to achieve the desired shade of henna brows.

6 rules for longer results

These are the don'ts for the first 24 hours after treatment with Dyotics brow henna.

1. Do not wet the face or eyebrows. Keep eyebrows dry for at least 24 hours; if you shower, keep your face and head completely dry.

2. Don't sweat! If possible, avoid intense exercise or visiting the sauna, as sweating can have a negative effect.

3. Do not use make-up remover or facial cleanser. In general, use as few cleansers as possible on eyebrows as long as there is still colour on the skin.

4. Do not go in full sun or under a sunbed for the first 24 hours after treatment.

5. Don't forget SPF. If it is sunny, apply a high-factor SPF to the eyebrows as long as there is still henna on the skin, because not only does the colour fade faster with sunlight, the sun also causes allergies!

6. Do not repeat the treatment too soon. Always leave at least 5 weeks between treatments to avoid the development of an allergy
