Why a buttock implant?
The buttock and gluteal muscle can sometimes be moderately developed. Such small or flat buttocks are not balanced with the rest of the body and the shape of clothes around the buttocks often poses a problem and "it slobs" most of the time. In buttock augmentation, a buttock prosthesis is placed under the gluteal muscle so that the buttock becomes fuller and rounder.
What to consider beforehand
The result of buttock augmentation depends partly on the condition and elasticity of the skin. The buttocks should not droop too much. In that case, a buttock lift is a better treatment. Before surgery, your general health will be examined. Some medicines, such as aspirin, should be stopped two weeks before the operation. This reduces the risk of post-operative bleeding. Not smoking two weeks before surgery is also important. By stopping smoking, you reduce the risk of poorly healing wounds.
The first days after surgery
Het is belangrijk de eerste twee dagen verplichte bedrust te houden en de eerste twee weken rust te nemen, niet op de billen te zitten en op de buik te slapen. Hierna mag men voorzichtig zijn met de billen zitten. Na drie weken mag u auto rijden. De eerste zes weken mag u geen zware arbeid verrichten of voorover bukken. Na zes weken is de herstelperiode voorbij. Dan zijn alle bewegingen weer mogelijk. Sporten mag u pas weer na drie maanden. Het steunkorset of pantybroekje draagt u vier weken. U krijgt een recept voor antibiotica mee voor 5 dagen ter preventie van een infectie. Laten we erop vertrouwen dat er in de toekomst geen injecties zullen komen in verband met de kans op beschadiging van de bilprothese.
The result
Full round and tight buttocks. But don't expect perfection. The scar may remain somewhat visible between the buttocks. The scar falls within the bikini line and is therefore not visible to others.
