Pigment & tattoo laser
Which device do we use?
At our clinic, we work with the Quanta Q-Plus Evo. This is a so-called Q-Switched laser has availability over 3 different wavelengths, namely Ruby 694nm and Nd:YAG 1064nm + 532nm with which almost all ink colours of tattoos can be effectively treated. With this laser, benign pigmentation spots can also be treated.
Tattoo
The laser light from the pulse passes through the top layer of skin and this allows the pulse to reach the ink of the tattoos. The energy given off pulverises the ink particles into tiny particles. These particles are then small enough to be disposed of by the body. This process takes time hence about 8 weeks between each treatment is scheduled.
The number of treatments varies from person to person this is because of what colours are incorporated in a tattoo. These treatments are provided by our Tattoozero performed.
Pigment
In the case of the benign pigmentation the effect is the same as when treating tattoos. The laser light passes through the top layer of skin and this allows the pulse to pulverise the pigment into tiny particles. The body can then dispose of this itself. The process also takes some time and there are about 4 weeks between.
It can sometimes take 2-3 treatments to achieve the desired results.
Permanent make-up
As with a tattoo, you can use your have permanent make-up removed too by the laser. The effect of this is the same as with a tattoo.
After these treatments, you can choose to apply new permanent make-up using the latest techniques.
