Laser treatment for vessels

Within our clinic, we work with the Elvii532 VP. This is a KTP laser and this light is green in colour. The property of this laser light is that it is mainly absorbed by red tissue. This laser light precisely enters the dilated red blood vessel. When this light is absorbed into the blood vessel, it is converted into heat and "burns" the vessel shut.

The laser light reaches the blood vessel without emitting heat to the epidermis. No wounds are made in the process and therefore the risk of infection or scarring is very low.

Many times, the desired result is achieved after just 1 treatment. Sometimes it can also be 2 to 3 treatments. The interval of treatments can be around 4 weeks.
